Fast Bloom [PHOTOSHOP ACTION]

Have you ever seen those cool edits with a soft light around bright stuff, like sunbeams or city lights? That's called cinematic bloom, and it's the secret sauce behind tons of epic photographer's feeds. Think of it like highlighting the lighter parts of your pic with a subtle glow, kinda like adding filters on Instagram, but way more pro. This Photoshop Action does the hard work for you, instantly transforming your shots into eye-catching masterpieces.

Now that the sales pitch is out of the way, this is not a substitute for a mist filter but if you happen to need to add a bit more bloom to your photos and make them dreamy. The technique is not a secret and you can just follow my instructions on how to achieve this following this the instruction s in the video below but if you want to save some time and support my work you can just grab this action and save yourself time and the frustration of having to set the layers up yourself.

How to install:

Double-click the .ant file to add it to Photoshop

How to fine-tune the bloom:

• Lower the layer opacity for a more natural look
• Double-click on Gaussian blur to adjust the amount of bloom
  • 20-50 will give you a more localized bloom
  • 100+ while having a nice and soft feel to the entire image
    
• Stacking together the effect more times will produce blown-out highlights if you do not disable the effect before triggering the action a second time and you might want to start to desaturate the created layers if you use more of them as they will produce a red cast on skin tones
